What I mean by ‘doing stuff on the computer’:
Getting myself in and out of nasty situations, installing Linux and immediately throwing it off again (some day…), trying to make decent websites, just killing time, reading tutorials and doing nothing with it,… And since I’m doing CS now, I sometimes simply need to work on it.
What I mean by ‘playing the guitar’:
I’m the proud owner of an Alhambra classical guitar and had 9 years of guitar lessons, most of the time my teacher was Frenk Casteleijn, a great teacher he is.
An ownership I’m less proud of: a ‘Pro Tone’ electrical guitar. Worst guitar ever! Never buy a cheap Stratocaster copy from an unknown brand! My other hardware are a Roland Cube-30 and a Line6 Toneport GX, but I don’t have that much experience with electrical guitars.
What I mean by ‘playing the piano’:
I just got started this year (2008-2009) with learning the piano. It’s fun.
Education:
I’ve got a high school degree at the Sint-Pietersinstituut (Saint-Peter’s Institute) in Turnhout, Belgium. I hope I’ll do well, studying for civil engineer at the KULeuven, Belgium). Fingers crossed and thumbs up! I guess that didn’t work out… I’m studying CS at that same university now, and it’s a lot more fun.
